WASAC and the Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County have teamed up to bring you this fantastic FUN and FREE event! Families will have the chance to learn about vital community resources, play games and get crafty, meet local first responders, visit the Wichita Public Library Book Bus, and much more! As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, join an advocate from the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center at Coffee Daze to discuss the effects of sexual violence, available resources, and ways to support survivors. ☕ Coffee Daze is open from 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM, but our advocate will be available for discussion from 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM. 💙 Support survivors all day! A special teal drink will be available for purchase throughout the day, with proceeds helping to provide free services for survivors in our community. Stop by, ask questions, and help raise awareness!	12 11:00AM: Tattoos For a Change with Addictions In Ink 11:00AM – 6:00PM 04/12/2025 Join us for the First Annual Tattoos for a Change on April 12, 2025, at Addictions in Ink Tattoo (1255 S Tyler, Wichita, KS)! This special event is all about healing, empowerment, and raising awareness for survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Get inked for a cause! Talented tattoo artists will be offering premade flash tattoos and "Get what you get" gum ball machine designs—with ALL proceeds benefiting the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center and the Wichita Family Crisis Center. Date: April 12, 2025 Time: 11 AM - 6 PM Location: Addictions in Ink Tattoo Let’s make a statement, support survivors, and take action during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Come learn about amazing resources in the community, show your support for survivors, and be a part of the solution to create safe streets and a culture of intolerance for sexual assault. #StillNotAskingForIt From 7-8 PM, come out and talk to all of our community partners, take part in some fun activities and more! At 8 PM, we will start the rally by hearing from incredible survivors in our community. At 8:20, we will start the march. We can't wait to see you all on April 18th! Join us in spreading awareness with our theme: "Still Not Asking For It." This month, we're honored to announce that Sav with Afterlife Tattoo is partnering with us to support survivors through meaningful art. They'll offer survivor-based tattoos all month by appointment, culminating in a special flash event on April 19th and 20th, 12:00 PM-5:00 PM on both days. This event is a powerful way to reclaim ownership and spread a message of empowerment. There will be premade designs to choose from at a $60, $100, or $200 options. A portion of the proceeds goes to WASAC to keep services free for survivors. To schedule your appointment or learn more about the flash event, contact Sav on her Instagram @8theelementtatoo or Facebook Eight Element Tattoo.
