Amy started her career with WASAC as a volunteer in 2005, returned as part-time Advocate in 2013 and accepted a full time position in 2015. Amy is passionate about building connections in the community and exploring new, innovative ways she can assist survivors as they move through their healing journey. Humbled by her work with survivors, Amy feels grateful for being present with them during some of the most difficult parts of their lives. She has a passion for art, reading, and writing, which she often tries to incorporate into her work with survivors. Outside of her career, Amy enjoys being in nature, antique shopping, and spending time with loved ones. She can regularly be found in local coffee shops, enjoying a drink with her nose in a book.
